Chandra Kumari Baniya, 43, of Sibuwa, Panchkhapan Municipality-3, has been provided with a citizenship certificate at her home.
Baniya, who is severely disabled, had applied to the District Administration Office, Sankhuwasabha, on Poush 19 along with all the necessary documents. After receiving the application, the District Administration Office reached her home on Saturday and granted her citizenship.
According to Chief District Officer Sirjana Thapaliya, the citizenship was distributed after visiting the village during an interaction on issues including inspecting polling stations, election preparations with the local level, and adherence to the code of conduct.
