Two local levels have provided free treatment to women with vaginal discharge. In collaboration with Shir Memorial Hospital in Banepa, Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality has treated 28 women and Halesi Tuwachung Municipality has treated 15 women.

Out of the 18 people who reached the hospital last Friday, 12 were operated on on Sunday and Monday. Acharya said that 6 others had high blood pressure, sugar and thyroid, so they will be operated on after some time. Another 10 people were also taken to the hospital on Tuesday. They will also be operated on on Wednesday and Thursday, Acharya said.
Halesi Tuwachung Municipality has also treated 18 women with a collapsed lung. Kamal Giri, spokesperson of Halesi Tuwachung Municipality, said that 18 out of 22 people who were screened in the camps held on 20 and 21 last Poush were taken to Shir Memorial Hospital on 4th Magh and treated. According to him, 13 out of 18 people have undergone surgery. Two others were called to the hospital after 15 days due to high blood pressure and one's sugar. Giri said that two people were put on a ring pressor.
All those taken to the hospital were discharged on Monday, Giri said. Two people who were screened in Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality went to the hospital at their own expense, while the remaining four did not go to the hospital due to family problems, Acharya said.
Giri said that 4 people in Halesi Tuwachung Municipality also did not go to the hospital.
