The district convention held in the district headquarters Khandbari has formed a 17-member new district working committee under the chairmanship of Shrestha.
The convention has elected Prem Sharan Shastri, Muna Limbu and Rajkumar Katuwal as vice-chairmen, while Jayandra Shakya and Kiran Tamang have been unanimously elected as party spokesperson and secretary, respectively. Similarly, Leela Thapa has been elected as joint secretary and Badrinath Bajgain as treasurer.
Spokesperson Jayandra Shakya said that Ishwori Shakya, Kumar Baniya, Lok Bahadur Shrestha, Mohan Shakya, Pritam Rai, Laxman Shrestha, Chandra Prasad Dulal, Kul Bahadur Katuwal and Thakur Prasad Sharma were unanimously elected as members from the district convention.
The newly formed district working committee has pledged to further strengthen the party organization and remain active in expanding the organization throughout the district.
