Nepali Congress leader Bal Bahadur KC has announced that he will not be a candidate in the upcoming House of Representatives elections. Leader KC, who was directly recommended by the district committee from Solukhumbu as the number 1 candidate, has announced that he will not contest the elections.

KC, who has been contesting elections from Solukhumbu continuously since 2048 BS, has won 4 elections and lost 3.

He said that he will accept the committee as per the decision of the Election Commission, saying that he will fly the tree and the four-star flag wherever it is. He made it clear that he will support the party's candidate and will follow the tree and the four-star flag.

With the announcement of KC, an influential leader of the Nepali Congress, who has been a minister several times, not to contest the election, the way has been paved for a new candidate in Solukhumbu. After KC, Angelu Sherpa, Binod Basnet and Prakash Singh Karki are the main contenders in the election race.

The leaders of the Nepali Congress in Solukhumbu understand that it makes sense which candidate KC, who has a good personal vote share in the district, supports.
