The District Administration Office held discussions with political parties on Tuesday, targeting the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.

It has been informed that the office of the Election Officer will be established at the District Post Office from Magh 20. Chief District Officer Sirjana Thapaliya said that election-focused activities have been intensified in coordination with the district administration and the District Security Committee.
An integrated election security plan has been prepared at the district level and a state-level election security seminar has also been completed. She said that polling stations are being monitored and inspected regularly and a district command post and district election cell have been formed.
Advertisements have been published for the selection of election police to further strengthen security management.
She said that the district is fully prepared for the election to be held on Falgun 21. She mentioned that all mechanisms have been mobilized to conduct a fair, peaceful and safe election.
