Rudra Bahadur Khatri, 39, of Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-7, Dolakha, who was sentenced to 13 years in prison in a kidnapping and hostage case, was arrested on Monday from Bhumjudada, Halesi Tuwachung Municipality-2, Dikuwa.
Khatri, who escaped from prison on Bhadra 24, was arrested at 2 pm on Monday based on information that he was staying at his daughter's house in Bhumjudada and is being brought to Diktel, said Police Inspector Sushant Mishra, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Khotang. Mishra said that Khatri will be handed over to Khotang Prison on Monday itself.
