A worker died on Friday evening after falling from four floors while working at an under-construction hotel in Dhulabari, Mechi Nagar Municipality-10, Jhapa.
Naresh Kumar Mandal, aged around 21, a resident of Sisuwabelhi, Khadak Municipality-1, Saptari, suddenly fell to the ground while moving an iron pipe on the fourth floor of the ‘Easton Hotel’ under construction by New Infra Heaven Company Limited. Mandal, who suffered serious injuries to various parts of his body due to the fall, was taken to the local Mechi-Amda Hospital for treatment.
The hospital has stated that he died during treatment about half an hour after being taken to the hospital. The body is at the hospital. Police say that the body will be handed over to relatives after being called.
