The Him Shikhar Gulma of the Armed Police Force in Panchthar has constructed and handed over a house to a poor family in Phidim-10.

The Armed Police Force has built and handed over a house to a local couple, Purna Kumar and Samjhana Angbo, on the occasion of the 25th founding day of the organization. The Angbo couple have 3 children. They all study at Siddhadevi Basic School, Thangnapa.

Seeing the miserable condition of the Angbo family, who were living in a small hut with no access to sunlight and water, their neighbor and Thangnapa teacher Rita Tumbapo had publicly called for the construction of a house. After Tumbapo's call, a well-built 2-room house was built for the Angbo family using stone, mud, tin and wood in coordination with the Janasewa Samaj.

Eight Armed Police personnel worked continuously for 13 days to build the house. The wood was collected locally, while the tin and other materials were provided by Phidim Municipality and Ward No. 10 Office of Phidim Municipality. Teacher Tumbapo said that well-wishers also contributed cash to the construction of the house.

Chiranjivi Prasarain, Chief of the Armed Police Force's Himshikhar Gulma (DSP) in Phidim, informed that this house was built under social responsibility.

The newly constructed house was handed over on Thursday. The house was handed over in the presence of Phidim Municipality Chief Mitra Prasad Kafle and Chief District Officer Basudev Dahal during a ceremony.
