The UML District Committee, Panchthar, has recommended the names of seven people for the February 21 election to the House of Representatives.

The district committee meeting held on Wednesday recommended the names of central members Aindra Sundar Nembang, Asharatna Jabegu, Shree Prasad Jabegu , Rajkumar Bhandari, Krishnaraj Angdembe, Jayaprakash Kerung and Khagendra Baskota to the Koshi Province Committee. Of the seven recommended by the UML, Aindra Sundar and Asharatna are party central committee members, while Bhandari is in charge of the province secretary.

According to district chairman Bishnu Prasad Sapkota, there is a provision that the province committee meeting should discuss the names of the proposed candidates from 14 districts further and send them back to the central committee. It is said that the province committee has called a meeting on Poush 24 in the presence of all district chairmen.
