The bodies of a woman and a man have been found in two different locations in Dhankuta.
Police have said that the bodies of a woman were found in Sahidbhumi Rural Municipality-7 and a man in Mahalaxmi Municipality-1.
Both the bodies have been identified. According to sources at the District Police Office, Dhankuta, the bodies found are Purnima Magar, 44, of Gairigaun, Sahidbhumi-7, and Tanka Bahadur Raya, 43, of Mahalaxmi Municipality-1.
Magar's body was found about 15 meters below the road. Raya's body was reportedly found at 8 am on Monday.
After preliminary investigation, both the bodies have been sent to the District Hospital Dhankuta for post-mortem. Police say that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
