Two people have died and two others have been injured after a tractor carrying a cement mixer crashed on the Madanbhandari highway in Hokse, Triyuga Municipality-7.
The accident occurred when a tractor (number SA 1 TA 2825) coming from Hokse towards Chuhade via Madan Bhandari Highway skidded off the road and crashed, killing Raja Hussain Ali, 43, of Jaljale, Triyuga Municipality-6, and Asha Sada, 26, of Mohanpur in the same ward.
Police said that they were seriously injured in the accident and died during treatment at the District Hospital, Udayapur.
The injured Samidra Sada, 40, of Mohanpur, Triyuga-6, and Shambhu Sada, 45, of Jaljale in the same ward, have returned home after treatment at the District Hospital.
The tractor driver, Manoj Sah, 30, of Bagartol, Triyuga-6, is absconding from the scene of the accident.
