A pamphlet with the words 'Sanatan Suraksha Sena Nepal' written on it has been found near the Kankai Bridge in Kankai Municipality-4 of the district where a suspicious object was found.
Locals informed the police after seeing the suspicious object. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and cordoned off the area and increased security alert. The district police stated that the suspicious object was examined by the Nepal Army's bomb disposal team. The police have informed that there has been no human or material damage from the object so far.
The pamphlet found at the spot mentions the name of 'Sanatan Suraksha Sena Nepal' and includes various points in the style of a manifesto. The pamphlet mentions the restoration of the monarchy, declaring Nepal a Vedic Sanatan Hindu Rashtra, etc. Similarly, the pamphlet also warns of boycotting the upcoming elections on 21 Falgun if the demands are not met.
According to the police, it has not yet been revealed who placed the pamphlet and for what purpose. The police stated that further investigation is underway into all aspects related to the incident.
