Rudra Giri, the general convention representative of the Nepali Congress Khotang, has joined the National Independent Party.

Giri joined the party at a program held at the central office of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Tuesday.

According to Giri, a hundred people, including himself, have joined the RSS.

Giri said that he joined the party saying that the old party could not work for the country and the people. He pledged to work strongly based on the responsibilities given by the party.
