Dhanmaya Sailing of Yangwarak Rural Municipality-6 in Panchthar has absconded after robbing her neighbor Bishnumaya Rasaili of her jewelry.
According to the District Police Office, Panchthar, 52-year-old Dhanmaya called 60-year-old Bishnumaya at 2:30 pm on Saturday, saying, "I found a baby Kalij in the forest, come and catch him." She knocked him unconscious and robbed him of his jewelry before fleeing.
After beating him unconscious, the police said that the search for the absconding seller is ongoing.
After regaining consciousness around 5 pm, Bishnumaya informed her relatives about the incident. After that, the police and locals who reached the spot rescued the injured and took them to the District Hospital Panchthar for treatment.
