Chudamani Thapa, 80, of Phidim Municipality-4, has died after falling from a tree. According to the District Police Office, Panchthar, Thapa died on the spot.

Thapa, who had gone to cut grass near Gadtir, Phidim-4, Henwa Khola, on Saturday afternoon, was found fallen from a tree during a search after he did not return home by evening.

After Thapa was found dead by his relatives, the police reached the spot and after completing the legal process, brought him to the district hospital for postmortem, according to the District Police Office, Panchthar.

Thapa was cremated on Sunday after his postmortem, according to a family source.
