Police have arrested two youths with more than 750 kilograms of marijuana from Chaudandigadhi Municipality-3, Udayapur.

The arrested persons are identified as Rabin Kumar Rai, 23, of Belka Municipality-6, and Ram Bahadur Rai, 28, of Belka Municipality-9, according to the police. 

According to DSP Kedarman Daeng, Information Officer of the District Police, Udayapur, on Friday night at around 1:30 am, a joint team deployed from the Area Police Office, Beltar, and the Narcotics Control Bureau, Biratnagar, seized 763.76 kilograms of marijuana while checking a vehicle with registration number Ko 1 Ja 3456 coming from Rampur towards Gaighat.

Police said that the driver Robin and the passenger in the same vehicle were taken into custody along with the Bolero. The police said that further investigation is underway by keeping the arrested persons at the Area Police Office, Beltar.
