One person has died and two others have been injured after two motorcycles collided on the Koshi Highway at Tumlingtar, Khandbari Municipality-9, Sankhuwasabha.

A motorcycle coming from Sabhakhola towards Tumlingtar and a motorcycle (number Pra 1-02-043 Pa 2277) coming from the opposite direction collided with each other at around 6:30 pm on Saturday, according to the District Traffic Police Office, Sankhuwasabha. The driver of the motorcycle (number Ko 18 Pa 7176) suffered minor injuries to his left hand, left leg and chin in the accident. The seriously injured Dhan Bahadur Sunar, who was riding behind the same motorcycle, died.
Similarly, the driver of the motorcycle (number Pra 1-02-043 Pa 2277) The accident site is located about 13 kilometers south of the District Traffic Police Office, Sankhuwasabha. According to initial investigations, both drivers had valid driving licenses, were not under the influence of alcohol, and the accident occurred due to speeding on a paved road.
The District Traffic Police Office, Sankhuwasabha, has stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
