The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has recommended the names of four people from Sankhuwasabha, targeting the upcoming elections on February 21.
The party held a press conference on Saturday and stated that it has recommended the names of Sarita Thapa Khadka, Umesh Kumar Dangi, Chandra Bahadur Neupane and Rajendra Kumar Kiranti for the direct list.
Similarly, the names of three people have been sent to the center for the proportional list. The party has stated that the names of Indira Mishra, Jhalak Gurung and Lakhman Tamang have been included in the proportional list. Similarly, the party has unanimously recommended the names of Hemraj Ghimire and Keshar Bahadur Mahate for the National Assembly elections.
According to the party leadership, inclusivity, experience and public support have been given special priority while selecting candidates. The NCP Sankhuwasabha has stated that these names have been recommended with the aim of further strengthening the party in the upcoming elections.
