Police Assistant Inspector (ASI) Manish Dewan, who was transferred to the Control Room Communications Branch of the District Police Office, Udayapur and joined the District Police Office, Taplejung on Kartik 23, has passed away.
The District Police Office has stated that he was a resident of Namsaling, Maijogmai Rural Municipality-3, Ilam district and was staying at Birendra Chowk, Phungling Municipality-5, when he suddenly died.

Gautam said that the doctor declared him dead during the check-up and the body of the deceased was kept in the morgue of the district hospital.
The police have stated that the deceased Dewan's wife Santoshi Thapa is also working in the communications section of the District Police Office in Taplejung.
