Nepal Telecom's 4G (BTS) has been operational since Monday at Simbokp Mountain in the remote Bhotkhola Rural Municipality of Sankhuwasabha district.

Prem Rai, Chief of Telecom Khandbari, said that the locals of Bhotkhola area have gained access to communication with the tower installed at an altitude of 3,700 meters. 

The technical team led by Telecom Engineer Ashish Acharya, Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-2 Ward Chairman Zippa Bhote, Nepal Army and local youths actively participated in the project. The locals have considered this effort made amidst the remote Himalayan geography and difficult weather as an achievement.

Similarly, Nepal Telecom has informed that 4G service will be launched in the Kimathanka area of ​​Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-1 within a few days.
