On Sunday afternoon, an INSAS rifle magazine and three rounds of Mark 3 rifle bullets were found abandoned in a tea garden in Syaldagi, Birtamod Municipality-6.

A police team from the Birtamod Area Police Office had been deployed to recover the weapons and ammunition after receiving information that they were found abandoned.

The recovered magazines and bullets were found to have been looted from the goods storage room of the Anarmani Area Police Office during the Gen-G movement, according to the police.
