Police said that a special police team arrested them on Monday and presented them at the Sankhuwasabha District Court, Chainpur, for execution of the verdict.
The District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha, has arrested three accused who were absconding in various cases.
According to Police Inspector Dhan Bahadur Rajbanshi of the District Police Office, the absconding individuals were arrested as per the verdicts and orders of the Special Court Kathmandu and the Sankhuwasabha District Court Chainpur.
The arrested individuals are Menuka Tamang of Khandbari Municipality-6, Sankhuwasabha. She was convicted in a case of corruption involving construction work that was not in accordance with the standards and was absconding.
Similarly, Bikram Bishwakarma of Silichong Rural Municipality-4, Sankhuwasabha. He was absconding in a check dishonor case.
Similarly, Dawa Sherpa of Khandbari Municipality-3 was absconding in a check dishonor case. Police said that a special police team arrested them on Monday and presented them to the Sankhuwasabha District Court Chainpur for execution of the verdict.
