Preparations are underway to operate an herbal production, collection and processing center here. The herbal production, collection and processing center is being established in a private and public partnership with an investment of 30 million rupees from Koshi Province.
The center is being operated with the investment of the Koshi Province Health Ministry, said Bhupendra Rai, Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development and Health of Koshi Province.
Speaking at a program organized in Diktel on Wednesday in coordination with the Khotang Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rai said that a center for collecting and processing herbs produced in the inter-hilly districts of Koshi Province is being operated.
‘The only herb production, collection and processing center in Koshi Province is being operated,’ Rai said, ‘It will be operated in a private and public partnership, with the aim of providing employment and income to the youth.’
The herb production, collection and processing center is being prepared for operation according to the plan prepared by the Koshi Province Health Ministry and the Khotang Chamber of Commerce and Industry task force, said Yaduchandra Ghimire, Secretary of the Koshi Province Health Ministry.
