Hark Sampang, Chairman of the Labor Culture Party and Mayor of Dharan Sub-metropolitan City, has suspended the party's central vice-chairman, Devraj Lama.

After the police arrested Lama on charges of involvement in the old bomb blast incident, Sampang on Wednesday announced that Vice President Lama has been suspended from the party's responsibilities until the investigation is completed, expressing his commitment to support the state's investigation.

Party President Sampang posted a video on social media Facebook and said that he has been suspended from the post of Vice President until he is proven innocent. He says, "I am a person who says wrong is wrong and right is right, there will be no pressure or influence from our side in the investigation conducted by the state."

He had earlier said, "The state should conduct a fair investigation. If he is found guilty, action should be taken according to the law, but if he is found innocent, he cannot be hurt." He said that his party does not have a culture of remaining in office despite being involved in various scams like other parties.

Kumar, popularly known as Bishwakrantika, was arrested by a Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) team from Kapan on Tuesday. He is accused of carrying out bomb blasts in various parts of the country, including Kathmandu, while he was in an organization called the World United Ethnic Liberation Front.

On 15 Falgun 2068, a bomb exploded at the gate of Nepal Oil Corporation in Babarmahal, killing 3 people and injuring 7 others. He was arrested in the past and sent to jail while in the Central Jail, but was released after the government granted amnesty on the occasion of Democracy Day on 7 Falgun 2076.

He was also involved in an incident in Panchthar that resulted in the death of one person due to a bomb blast. It is reported that he was arrested after being found absconding in another explosives-related case at the District Police Office, Panchthar.

He had been absconding for a long time in the bomb blast incident that resulted in the death of a girl in Panchthar. It is reported that the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested him from Kapan in Kathmandu and sent him to Panchthar for further investigation on Tuesday.
