Two people were injured in a mini truck accident in the district.
The mini truck carrying goods from Barahapokhari Rural Municipality-5, Sorkhani Bangshilaghat to Chisapani met with an accident on Sunday afternoon. The driver, Gautam Khatri, 25, of Bhojpur, and his co-driver, Ayush Pariyar, 18, of Sunsari, were injured.
According to Police Inspector Raju Bista, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Khotang, the driver and co-driver were injured when the mini truck carrying goods (number Pr.1-02-001 Ka 5302) fell about 300 meters off the road at around 2 pm.
Bista said that preparations are being made to send the injured to a well-equipped hospital for treatment.
