A child has died after being hit by a tractor in Udayapur. 16-year-old Samir Majhi of Naya Tole, Belka Municipality-3, died on Sunday after being hit by a tractor.
Locals had informed the police after seeing him lying on the roadside after being seriously injured in a tractor accident. The victims had protested on the streets all day demanding the immediate arrest of the culprits.
The doctors declared Majhi dead after taking him to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (Ghopa) in Dharan, informed DSP Kedarman Dong, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Udayapur.
