Eleven people were injured when a Bolero jeep met with an accident on the inner road section of Dukhidanda, Shadananda Municipality-12, Bhojpur on Wednesday.

The jeep (May 1, 2066) heading from Jhyaupokhari to Tuke fell about 150 meters off the road after its brakes failed.

A police team led by Prasani Padam Bahadur Shrestha from Deurali Police Station reached the spot. It is learnt that there were 11 people including the driver in the jeep. The injured have been brought to the District Hospital in Sankhuwasabha for treatment. Khemra Shrestha, Tenzing Bhote, Ankit Chaudhary, Ritteckchuk Bhote, Sangita Karki, Kamala Shrestha, Kumari Maya, Menuka Rai, Jam Bahadur Limbu and Bishnu Dhakal were injured in the accident. 

According to DSP Kumar Prasad Mainali of the District Police Office Sankhuwasabha, the driver Mohan Tamang has suffered a minor head injury.
