Relatives of the man found dead in Phidim, Panchthar, have not been in contact for two days.

A person identified as Prakash Tamang, who was working as a daily wage laborer in the Salghari and Sarkhande areas of Phidim-4, was found dead at the house of Rajkumar Tamang of Phidim-4.

On Wednesday evening, his photo was made public on social media and various media outlets and his relatives were urged to contact him, but no relatives have come forward after two days, said Anish Kumar Karna, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Panchthar.

According to him, the deceased appears to be around 55 years old. Tamang's body, which was found dead, has been kept at the postmortem room of Panchthar Hospital after a nature certificate has been filed at the scene of the incident. Police say that he may have died due to excessive alcohol consumption.
