Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality is to be honored among the local levels for playing a leading role in sustainable development by conserving forests, environment, ecology, biodiversity, nature and culture.
The Nepal Institute of Science and Technology (NAST) is going to honor Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality with the Bhubaneswar Technology Award-2082.
Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality will be honored among the local levels for playing a leading role in sustainable development by conserving forests, environment, ecology, biodiversity, nature and culture.
The 49th Academic Assembly held on Mangsir 12 under the chairmanship of NAST Chancellor and Prime Minister Sushila Karki selected Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality as the best local level, informed Mayor Tirtha Raj Bhattarai at a press conference on Wednesday. Bhattarai said that he has been invited to Kathmandu on Mangsir 20 to receive the honor.
‘I am happy that NAST has decided to honor me for playing a leading role in sustainable development by conserving forests, environment, ecology, biodiversity, nature and culture,’ Bhattarai said, ‘I have been invited to Kathmandu on Mangsir 20 to receive the honor. I would like to thank NAST for its appreciation of my work.’
