A 69-year-old man has died after being gored by a bull. The deceased has been identified as Padambir Rai, a resident of Sano Bhalukhop, Phidim Municipality-14, according to the District Police Office, Panchthar.
Rai was gored by a bull he had raised while he was tying it to a stall at around 5 pm on Tuesday. Rai fell about 150 meters after being gored by the bull and died on the spot, according to the District Police Office, Panchthar.
Preparations are underway to bring Rai's body to the district hospital for a post-mortem, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Anish Kumar Karna.
