6 entrepreneurs from Sankhuwasabha honored

The Cottage and Small Industries Office, Sankhuwasabha, has honored six of the district's best entrepreneurs.

At the program organized on Tuesday, Dilmaya Rai of Hohorem Allo and Cotton Textile Industry, Jitendra Rai of Yafu Namuna Agriculture and Livestock Farm, Rinji Sherpa of Siddhakali Beekeeping Industry, Dev Bahadur Katuwal of Swarojgar Bagbani Livestock Vegetable Business and Production Center, Rohit Rai of Pammali Sukuti and Pickle Industry and Thakur Bahadur Dhakal of Manakamana Integrated Agriculture and Livestock Research Center were honored.

They were honored with a cash award of Rs 5,000 and a citation. The entrepreneurs spoke about their experiences and the potential of local production, the challenges of market expansion and the need for government coordination. Prem Chandra Rai, Chief of the Cottage and Small Industries Office, said that he is committed to continuously strengthening entrepreneurship development in the district and making the youth self-reliant.

Koshi Provincial Assembly Member Bidur Kumar Lingthep expressed his best wishes on the occasion of Industry Day. He said that local production and agriculture-based enterprises are the mainstay of the economic development of the district. He mentioned that the state needs to make policy support more effective for promoting entrepreneurship.
