National identity cards (smart cards) have been distributed to prisoners lodged at the Bhojpur District Jail Office.

A team from the District Administration Office has provided cards to 24 prisoners, including 22 men and two women, in the prison. 

Prison Chief Keshav Khanal said that the 'smart card' will increase prisoners' access to civil services and ensure their identity in records, making administrative work easier.
