Taplejung Traffic Police have seized four Bolero jeeps being driven in the district. The vehicles were seized after they were found not to be in the records of the Transport Management Office and did not match the details in the vehicle registration book.

These vehicles seized from various places in Phungling Municipality will be sent to the Traffic Management Office Itahari for further investigation, said Suman Adhikari, Chief Police Assistant Inspector of the Traffic Police Office, Taplejung. 

According to the officer, among the seized vehicles, vehicle number Na1J 1583 is not in the records of the Traffic Management Office, Birgunj, Parsa, while vehicle number Ko1J 1111 is in the vehicle registration book, but the engine number and the engine in the vehicle do not match. It has been found that the engine number Na3Cha 3928 was operated without the permission of the Traffic Management Office, while the Bolero vehicle number Na2Cha 7295 was registered, but the engine in the vehicle did not match, and although the vehicle registration mentions red, it was taken into custody because it was operated in white.
