Since October 10, 1,450 voters have been added to the district. According to District Election Officer Bandhavraj (Bipin) Dulal, there are currently 75 polling stations and 123 polling stations in the district.
Most of the registered voters are over 18 years of age. 343 people have applied to change their names in the voter list.
Five additional polling stations in the district and two polling stations have been recommended for change. The district-level committee led by the coordinator of the election committee and the Chief District Officer has recommended the polling stations and polling stations to the Election Commission for review.
Ashanglung Basic School in Fakumba of Maiwakhola Rural Municipality-6, Mahendra Basic School in Bhangwari of Phaktanglung Rural Municipality-6, Lungthung Basic School in Schooldanda of the same ward, Aardash Secondary School in Khejenim of Phaktanglung-2 and Janaratri Basic School in Dalainch of Mikwakhola Rural Municipality-4 have been recommended for review. Among those recommended, there are currently 131 voters in Ashanglung, 530 in Bhangbari, 362 in Lungthung Schooldanda, 513 in Khejenim, and 130 in Dalincha.
The decision to recommend was made at the request of the concerned municipality while the ward office was in session. Office Chief Dulal informed that the commission has been recommended to shift the polling station at Yanglijung Basic School in Phungling Municipality-2 to the ward office of Ward 2 and the polling station at the Phungling Municipality-5 Community Building to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry building.
There are currently 75 polling stations and 123 polling centers in the district. If the recommendation is accepted, the number of polling stations will reach 80 and the number of polling centers will reach 128.
