Locals have taken into custody a young man who stole utensils and utensils in Krishna Chemjong Tole, Dharan Sub-municipality-15, Sunsari, on Saturday morning and handed him over to the police.
Dharan Sub-metropolitan City Ward No. 15, 24-year-old Sabin Limbu, who was involved in the theft, was arrested by locals and tied to an electric pole. After being tied to the pole for some time, the locals handed him over to the Area Police Office, Dharan.
According to DSP Grihan Babu Rai of the Area Police Office, Dharan, he had stolen utensils and other items from the houses of the locals. He said that some of the stolen items have been recovered.
DSP Rai said that the arrested Limbu is a drug user and that he was intoxicated during the theft. DSP Rai informed that further investigation has been initiated after taking Limbu into custody.
The Area Police Office, Dharan, has also requested that if any items are lost within the Krishna Chemjong Tole Development Organization in Ward No. 15, a complaint should be filed immediately.
