A truck accident has occurred in Mayun Khola, Suryodaya Municipality-9, along the Fikkal-Naya Bazaar road section of Ilam.

A mini truck (Me 1 Kha 2515) heading from Jaubari to Fikkal met with an accident on Friday evening. Ilam Police has stated that the truck accident occurred in a flooded river. According to the police, there were three passengers in the truck, including two motorcycles, two drivers and one passenger on the back. 

It is said that the truck carrying a motorcycle fell into the river after it was unable to cross the flooded river. The driver and passengers are safe, while one of the motorcyclists, 34-year-old Saurabh Subedi of Arjundhara-9, Jhapa, was slightly injured after falling into the river in panic.
