Itahari, Inaruwa, and Ramdhuni municipalities in Sunsari have decided to close all schools, citing the ongoing rains.

Ganesh Bhandari, vice-chairman of the Private and Residential School Organization PABSON Sunsari, informed that the remaining local levels are still meeting and have not yet made a decision. According to him, those local levels have issued a special notice stating that they will give a one-day school holiday.
