A bus going from Damak to Diktel in Khotang met with an accident at 8:45 am on Friday in Tinghumti, Dhankuta Municipality-9.

Police have stated that the bus bearing Province 1-02-002 Kha 9519 skidded off the road and overturned. Police have stated that 55-year-old Meena Gurung of Letang-3, Morang, was injured in the accident. Dhankuta SP Sarat Kumar Thapa Chhetri informed that the other passengers on the bus are safe.

There were 27 passengers on the bus. The injured are being treated at the Dhankuta District Hospital.
