Rajan Kangwang, 30, of Dokhu, Phungling Municipality-7, has gone missing after being swept away by the Tamor River. According to the District Police Office, Taplejung, he was swept away by the Tamor River while returning home from his in-laws' house in Aathrai Triveni Rural Municipality on Friday.
Police suspect that he entered the river for swimming at a place called Khadkude. Police Assistant Inspector Nama Sherpa of Mewakha Police Station and locals are continuing their search in the river, said Police Inspector and Information Officer Bivek Basnet of the District Police Office.
