Police said that his body was found in a very gruesome condition inside the Belbari-Chisang partnership forest.

When the body of Anshu of Letang Municipality-2 School Chowk was found with his head and body separated, not only the family but also the entire village was shocked. A local woman who had gone to cut grass had informed the police after seeing the body at around 1:30 pm.

'It can only be said from the forensic examination report whether she was murdered after rape or died due to an attack by a wild animal,' said SP Katuwal, 'The truth will be known soon.'

Anshu left home at 4:30 pm on Asoj 21 to play ping pong.  The girl was out of contact after that.
