All the wards of Mikwakhola rural municipality are connected to the central transmission line of Nepal Electricity Authority.
Earlier, Ward No. 1 and 2 of Mikwakhola reached Khokling. The central transmission line has also reached ward number 3 Liwang, 4 Sanwa 5 Papung.
According to Bhakta Bahadur Karki, chairman of the rural municipality, the transmission line has been connected in the entire municipality with the coordination and partnership of the rural municipality. Previously, local products were used in Liwang, Sanwa and Papung.
President Karki said that due to the continued disruption of local production and complaints from the people, the connection of the central transmission line had to be emphasized. Most of the telephone towers in this village were equipped with solar panels and batteries because they were only local products.
Because that battery is charged only when the sun shines, there is a problem that the tower does not work when the sun does not shine and it does not rain for a long time or when the weather is cloudy. Karki said that the transmission line will be extended to that place and it will be made to run regularly i.e. 24 hours a day.
