One person was shot dead in Ramdhuni Municipality-2 of Sunsari. According to the police, Dinesh Chaudhary, a local resident, estimated to be 47 years old, was shot dead on the inner road of Ramdhuni Karmanya toll on Saturday evening.

Locals said that the deceased Chaudhary was a safari driver and a group of youths on a motorcycle shot him and ran away. 

He died on the spot after being shot. 

The police said that they are looking for the group that escaped after shooting.
