The blocked Sapsukhola-Manebhanjyang-Panchdhare road in Sakela Rural Municipality has been put into operation. After the landslide was cleared by the rural municipality on Wednesday, the traffic started operating.

According to village chairman Ravi Prakash Rai, the traffic was resumed on Wednesday night after the road blocked by landslides was removed. Rai said that the vehicles were put into operation after the village council removed the landslides in Sapsukhola-Manebhanjyang-Panchdhare about 32 km area under the emergency infrastructure service after the citizens had problems with movement.

"The work of removing landslides from the main roads is being done by the village's JVC machine," Rai said, "After removing the landslides from the main roads, the internal roads will also be brought into operation and the upgrading work will also be started." At various places, the water flowing from the drains washed away the gabion mesh and also damaged the gravel of the road.

Similarly, Manebhanjyang-Pung, Manebhanjyang-Tawabhanjang, Manebhanjyang-Ratancha, and Katike-Sostung-Nainepati roads have also been damaged by landslides, according to the rural municipality.
