The Ilam-Fidim road section of the Mechi highway, which has been blocked for five days, has been put into operation.
This road has come into operation after the road division, Ilam, removed the landslides that occurred in different places of this section.

Pawan Bhattarai, Head of Road Division, Ilam, informed that the road was operational after removing the obstacles by installing excavators at various places in this area.
According to him, although the Ilam Fidim section road has been opened, the obstruction of Mykhola and Rajduwali areas under Ilam Virtamod section is still the same .
"Now we will focus all the manpower and machines on Rajduwali." Bhattarai said.
