One person died on the spot and six others were injured when a Bolero vehicle crashed in Sidingwa Rural Municipality-3 Angkhop on Tuesday evening.

According to Police Inspector and Information Officer Vivek Basnet of District Police Office Taplejung, 60-year-old Lok Bahadur Kunwar, resident of Sidingwa-3 Angkhop, died on the spot. 60-year-old Lok Bahadur Chauhan and 45-year-old Prakash Chauhan of Angkhop were seriously injured.
30-year-old Srijan Chauhan, 4-year-old Priyans Chauhan, 40-year-old driver Prakash Suwang, 3-year-old Priyansa Chauhan were injured, police said. All the injured are being treated at Sablakhu health post.
The police said that the car had an accident at 6:30 p.m. The police team under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Pradeep Bista of Sablakhu Police Station and the locals took the injured to Sablakhu Health Post for treatment.
