Dharan-Dhankuta road of Koshi highway has been blocked due to landslides caused by incessant rain.

According to the police, last night under this road section, the road near Mulghat and Namaste waterfall was blocked by landslides and mud piled up. 

Similarly, the Hile-Pakhribas-Leguwa section under the Madhyapahari highway is also blocked due to damage to the road. At the place where the landslide occurred, it has been reported that the JCV of the road division is carrying out the work of removing the landslide. 

The administration has issued a notice not to operate any type of vehicle on those roads. Bhedetar police have turned some vehicles that were going from Dharan to Dhankuta back to Dharan.
