A child has died after being swept away by a river in Triyuga Municipality-5 Damauti. According to the District Police Office, Udaipur, three-year-old Rebecca Rai, daughter of Ujan Rai, has died.

On Saturday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the girl was swept away by the river Ambika while she was playing near Balika river. The body of the girl has been handed over to her relatives after the process has been completed.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Kedarman Dong informed that an investigation has been started regarding the incident.
