According to Uddhav Thapa, Ward President of Triyuga Municipality-5, the girl was swept away by a sudden flood in the Ambika river while she was playing in the river on Saturday afternoon.
The body of the deceased girl was found one and a half kilometers down on Saturday evening and the police team prepared a report of the incident and brought it to the district hospital for post-mortem, said DSP Kedarman Dong, information officer of the district police office, Udaipur.
