Foreign nationals who had gone for mountain climbing returned to the hotel after bad weather was reported

After getting information about bad weather, the foreign nationals who came to climb the mountain have returned to a safe place.

Chhiring Sherpa, a tourism and hotelier from Ghunsa, informed that two foreigners who had gone to climb the 7 thousand 710 meters high Kumbhakarna mountain returned to their hotel saying that they had to stay until the weather improved.

They have returned to Jongga Hotel in Ghunsa, which is one camp down from Khambachene . This year, French citizens Benjamin and Nicolas have come to climb the mountain. They had attempted to climb the same mountain last year as well. They returned after not being able to climb successfully, and this year they have come back to try again .

According to the information of the meteorologist and disaster management committee, they returned to the hotel after preparing for a few days near the mountains. Chhiring says that he was given a message to speed up the efforts after the improvement in the weather. Locals said that the weather in the Kanchenjunga base camp area is now normal.

District Disaster Management Committee Coordinator and Chief District Officer Shivraj Sedhai has issued a statement and requested to take precautions from 17th to 20th.
