In memory of those who lost their lives during the Gen-G movement, a tribute meeting was organized in Fidim of Panchthar on Tuesday along with a large rally.
The rally started from Shivalaya Temple in Phidim Bazar and reached Republic Chowk via Buddha Marg, Bhanu Marg, Hospital Mode, Model Toll, Main Road and Lakhan Marg at Fidim Bazar and turned into a mourning and tribute meeting. The participants in the

A map of Nepal was made and a candle was lit in the mourning and tribute meeting held at the Republic Chowk.
Fidim Municipality Mayor Mitra Prasad Kafle, Deputy Mayor Radhakrishna Neupane along with father Ganesh Prasad Bhandari and uncle Shantikumar Bhandari of Gen-G Martyr Kamal Bhandari of Panchthar were present in the condolence meeting. The organizers of the
program honored the family of the martyrs with a cash of 30 thousand rupees and a map and national flag of Nepal.
The government of Nepal mourned the citizens who lost their lives in the Gen-G movement on August 1. Manjana Thulung Rai, one of the organizers, informed that today after 13 days, Zen-ji organized a mourning and tribute meeting and rally in Fidim.
The program organized under the banner of Pariwartan Nepal (Swatantra Gen-G) was attended by hundreds.
